You've applied to school, gotten accepted, now how are you are going to pay for it?? With tuition for school increasing each year, financial aid is necessary for most of us to attend. Financial aid is one of the most important things to consider when applying to colleges. There are so many benefits when applying for financial aid such as grants, loans, scholarships and etc. Each week, I will post up some tips to help with applying for financial aid.

FAFA
The most important process when applying for financial aid process has to be filling out the FAFSA. Most colleges look at this form to see what type of aid you can receive for school. Here are some tips when filling out the FAFSA:

- Turn it in EARLY-  since there are so many deadlines out there for aid; you need to make sure that you fill your fafsa out early so can qualify for this aid

- Use the Worksheets- when filing the fafsa out they have worksheets that are there to help you along the way.. Use them they are there too help you… 

-Fill Out the Pre-Application Form- You don’t want to make any errors on the fafsa so I suggest filling out the pre-application form and then complete the online form … it will help you correct any mistakes that you may make on the pre-application form 

- Complete Taxes Early-  Make sure your parents do- You’ll need either your parents tax information or your own so make sure that you get your taxes done early..  Remember the faster you get the FAFSA completed the more aid you will receive
